Ladybug has decided she will show me once again exactly how stubborn she is and this time she makes me look like the flexible one in the family!
Up until Saturday I was Mommy to Ladybug, then having spent Friday evening with her friend, I became Mamma. Saturday Ladybug was with her friend again (and Sunday) and all traces of the word Mommy have been lost. I kind of miss it to be honest.
When correcting Ladybug and telling her its Mommy and not Mamma she will look at me and will not say Mommy! She starts and says Mom….ma or will flat out turn round and say Clafrin or Caflin, but she will NOT say Mommy. We are now on day 3 and she will not let the word Mommy pass her lips.
I told her that I was going to ignore her if she called me Mamma, so
the little shit Ladybug got clever and now calls me Caflin! She first starts with Mamma, then when I don’t respond she calls Caflin then packs out laughing when I do respond to Caflin.
This has now turned into a battle of wills and a game to see who will outwit, outlast and outplay the other one. I will not give in to her, I will get her to say Mommy again and by the looks of it, Ladybug is showing no signs of giving in and uttering the word Mommy.
