What are YOUR kids doing this December?
Holidays are the bane of every parent’s life – especially in December where so many places are closed. Many schools don’t run holiday programs any more and this can make life really difficult.
That’s where Crafts4Kids comes in!
We are running a Holiday Club from the 4th to the 15th of December at the Professional Child Care College in Melville, Johannesburg. We’ve kindly been given the use of some of their classrooms so we have lots of space and plenty of awesome fun activities planned!
Each day, we will do a fun craft activity, followed by a movie while the kids eat their lunch. In the afternoons, we will play games, do obstacle courses, do drama and watch fun educational shows.
The specific craft activities for each day are as follows:
4 December – Grow your own hairy grass man! This fun activity allows children to experience how plants grow, as well as being able to style their grass man’s “hair” when it grows!
5 December – Kings and Queens Day – Make your own crowns, be members of the royal court!
8 December – Salt dough Bobble Man!
9 December – Woven wall hangings! 3-5 year olds work with paper, and 6-10 year olds use wool, all on a frame.
10 December – Styrofoam snowmen and salt dough ornaments!
11 December – Make a Father Christmas out of ice cream sticks
12 December – Make a spider out of a paper cup!
13 December – Baking Day! Decorate cookies with lots of sweets!
14 December – Laminated Bookmarks.
15 December – Design your own hand towel!
We run a half day and a full day option. Full day is 7:00 – 17:00 and costs R200 per day, with all activities included. Half day is 7:00 to 12:00 and costs R100 with all morning activities included, including the craft activity.
We are filling up fast and space is limited so book now!
